I am here 
with my friend

we sit in quiet
faith stirring 
inflammation easing

we must bear 
with one another 

learn to sit 
in the uncertain

that ‘what shall we do?’
that ‘where is next way?’

as long as 
you remain
there is more 
ground to walk

opportunity to seek
cheer to taste

allow hope to light 
your mind way

illuminate roads 
once-dismissed…
